My Meigh Meigh Boy

He calls bananas meigh meigh,
It’s a secret word that only he understands.
Under the dinner table he’d crawl,
He’d bring a pot of rice with him, making a throne for two.

The kitchen is his playground,
He stacked the spices into tall towers.
He spill out the chips and then put them back in the box.
He is always the silliest sorter.

Doors never stay open,
He closed each one with pride.
His sharp laugh rang through the house,
while he chase his sisters from side to side.

He shares each bite with Mama first,
It is a rule his little heart always followed.
He’d even grab his food with his nimble toes,
like a perfect circus trick.

What a boy he is, so funny and so bright,
a bundle of laughter and my daily delight.
